FAQ

Why is there so little content?

Well, when I made this website, I didn't want to jump into making lore HTML docs and a whole UI and everything because I didn't, and as of writing this, still don't have a functioning server that I own to run a wiki-like thing for Boiling World on. While Cloudflare Pages is certainly an amazing service, I intend to address some particularly not-corporate friendly topics and elements within the Boiling World setting, like violence, drugs, genocide, sex (someone told me I should specify that I meant sexual anatomy and this is that specification) and more. Yeah. I'm sure Cloudflare would be the exact opposite of delighted to find that their servers are being used to talk about a faction that nukes its own cities.

Now, as of 10/19/2026... I have HORRIBLE news. This server is not cooperating. And I've tested some things. It's either the motherboard, the CPU, or the RAM. I'm gonna take it in for a check at a local place with good reviews and see if they can figure something out. It's been behaving really really weirdly. But, that's just computers for you. Horrible, horrible arrangements of copper, silver, gold, and silicate.

So what I mean by all this is: It's coming. Soon. Just gotta wait. Faction documents, corpo documents, terminology, etc. very soon, probably later this month. For now, you can see the map of Boiling World on the home page, just gotta scroll alllll the way down. Few countries have first and second level subdivisions. Go check it out. Might have to open the image separately to zoom in depending on your browser though. And I'm working on a new one. There's also a Mars one. Soon, I'll have a moon one.

Does the Federation of Earth control all of Earth, and is it related to the UN at all?

The Federation of Earth does not control all of Earth. Rather, it controls very specific areas. Think Argentina, the eastern United States, the British Isles (including Ireland), Australia, and all of Antarctica, with a few other territories outside of those. It isn't related to the UN at all, the UN pretty much just fell into irrelevancy after 2003 and was only officially disbanded in 2029 after the Climate War/WWIII. The Federation of Earth is a corporatocratic superstate ruled by social darwinists from wealthy families who believe that they are genetically superior because their families accumulated massive amounts of wealth, and seek to wipe out all that they consider inferior to reshape the world in a way which they find suitable for themselves.
